True intelligence operates silently. Stillness is where creativity and solutions to problems are found. — Eckhardt Tolle

The most rewarding times of my day are during times of stillness and quiet. It may be my own personality, but having moments throughout the day of being quiet and reflective is so important in today’s rapid society. Prayer and meditation at the start of the day is a wonderful practice to start.

This set of images is a small collection of some street photography I have done over the past few months. The focus was on small characters in large environments and simplicity in the city. I hoped to elicit emotions of quiet and stillness.

I used a variety of mediums for photography from my iPhone and DSLR to a 1970s film camera.
